Living Education Collective is the vision of a group of parents who have desired to create a community of learning that is restful, honoring to God, respectful to the whole child, and rigorous in its own right. 

Living Education Collective was founded as an educational non-profit in 2022. Our team officially launched our first program in time for the 22/23 academic year, welcoming in 50 students. The Lord did a work in our small community that first year, creating deep connections and relationship amongst our pioneer families.

Our Ventura County based Charlotte Mason community was founded by local families who believe in investing back into the community, linking arms and affecting positive change from the ground level. We love Jesus and we do not want to separate our faith from our education. We believe in humanity and nature united in and for the glory of Christ.

We are seeking to build relationships with what we learn, to cultivate a community where education is alive and students come into direct contact with great and noble ideas. 

We’ve set forth to create an atmosphere of learning that respects the whole person. Imparting habits of wisdom, truth and virtue while providing a generous feast of great and noble ideas in a life-giving environment. 

We adhere to Charlotte Mason’s vision, philosophy and principles. Our community comes together for fellowship once a week to pursue a rich education in a family like setting.
