Living Education Collective (LEC) is a community that adheres to Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy and principles. We have a passion to live and teach these principles. You were chosen based on your willingness to learn and grow in Charlotte Mason’s educational philosophy and for your love of teaching. We are so excited to learn and grow with you!

Before we get started, there are some important things we need to cover. This Employment Agreement covers all of the "legal" stuff. When we gather together we will go deeper into philosophy, training and the joy of a living education. Our goal is to equip you as a Charlotte Mason educator, but we also believe in the safety and well-being of all students participating in our community. A safe learning atmosphere is foundational, so we will link arms to walk through some of the items required by the State of California as well as some additional items to make sure that our community is a place of love and rest.

We are a growing community and many of you have years of experience in other youth organizations, if at any point as you walk through this process you realize that you have experience or wisdom that would benefit LEC please don't hesitate to communicate. Although growing steadily, we are still a young organization. As an LEC tutor you will have a hand in shaping the culture of our community. If you notice something that needs attention, pray about it and if God continues to nudge you, share it with our Director. LEC is community-built and we believe that God is in it and through it, that He brought you for a reason and has a purpose for you here.
